Why Do Angels Cry?

by Vince Clemons

I often wonder why it rains; but now that I am older, I think I know:  the angels are crying.  Not so much for us as because of us.  See, man was made just a little bit lower than the angels.  But for some reason we seem only to show compassion when something very terrible happens, like floods, earthquakes or war.  I think that sometimes the angels and God would like to see us treat each other with compassion on a daily basis, but I know they wonder why it takes a disaster to get men to pull together and treat each other with kindness.

I think some days the heavens are trying to wash away the sin that we do on a daily basis, especially when it comes to the children.  I know that this will offend some of you, but it needs to be said:  just because you have the right to do something does not mean you should do it.  God gave us the freedom to choose right from wrong.  We got that one when we ate of the tree with the knowledge of good and evil, so we have no excuse.  Let me speak plainly.  Life begins as God puts a heartbeat into that baby’s heart.  I know you have heard of stillborn babies, or the mother has had a miscarriage; I don’t mean to be rude, but sometimes these things happen.  But we should not be killing our unborn ones.  The reason I say this is because babies are not an inconvenience; they are gifts from God to help us not be selfish.

Vince and JoeyGod gives babies as gifts to help us grow up, to make our hearts care about more than just ourselves. When we do things to those who cannot protect themselves, what are we saying about us as a whole? Have we become so self-absorbed that we cannot even love those that we should? Loving the unloved in this world.

There is sin because of the fall of man, the first man, Adam. For this reason there is sin. There have been a lot of wanted children just left on the roadside or in back alleys in trashcans; I believe that these little ones are here to be a blessing to those who cannot have babies of their own. I believe that God allows those who cannot for whatever reason have babies of their own to adopt these and make them their own. My firstborn is mine by marriage, but he is my son; and as you can tell, I call him my son and I love him just as much as a father can.

Nowadays so many people are trying to have the perfect baby by messing with DNA codes, but it is the imperfections that give each one of us our character. While in pursuit of the perfect child, we as sinful man will make that "perfect" child look good on the outside, but what of his inside? Hi spirit? Remember, there is none perfect, no, not one.

No one should ever molest a child! It is one of the most debased things a person could do. I mean that-no one! For God has said that for him who stuffs one of these little ones, it would be better that a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the deepest part of the ocean than to stand before God's wrath.

I know the angels see us. How can we take God and this earth for granted? God is not in a magic lamp, and you rub it and he gives you three wishes. He is GOD. He does not need us-we need him. If he were to say tomorrow, "All folk, GAME OVER!" and took the earth and rolled it up and said, "It is time for judgment day," would you be ready? Or would you say, "I am not ready. Can I get one more day?" and he said, "No, I have given you all the grace and mercy; time to be judged." What would you do? Because there is no place to hide, nowhere you can go, no amount of money that can save you. On that day there will be so much anguish and grinding of teeth; but those who have been faithful and have accepted Jesus the Christ as lord and savior come home. My Lord wishes that none should perish, but all should be saved.

I KNOW WHY THE ANGELS CRY -- BECAUSE WE WASTE THE GIFT OF LIFE.
